Good morning all, this  time I  will  introduce  one of the  beauty  of the   mountains  that  are   in Indonesia,  which was named  Mount Bromo,  you will not  regret  it   when  it had  been   on the mountain,   in addition to  nice we  could  enjoy  the scenery  characteristic that is in the area of Mount Bromo.

This time I will share information about the mountain in East Java Indonesia by the name of Mount Bromo, Mount Bromo (Indonesian: Mount Bromo), is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. At 2329 meters (7641 feet) it is not the highest peak of the massif, but the most famous. Massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. This volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Name of Bromo derived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god.

Mount Bromo sits in the middle of a vast plain called the "Sea of Sand" (Javanese: Segara Wedi or Indonesian: Ocean Sand), a protected nature reserve since 1919. The typical way to visit Mount Bromo is from the nearby mountain village of Lawang Cemoro. From there it is possible to walk to the volcano in about 45 minutes, but it is also possible to take an organized jeep tour, which includes a stop at the viewpoint on Mount Penanjakan (2770 m or 9088 ft) (Indonesian: Mount ascent). The best views from Mount Bromo to the Sand Sea below and the surrounding volcanoes at sunrise. Mount Penanjakan viewpoint can also be reached on foot in about two hours.

The origin of the ritual lies in the 15th century legend where a princess named Roro Anteng ranging from royal Tengger with her husband Joko Seger. Couples who have children and therefore the mountain gods for help. The gods gave them 24 children, but determined that the child's 25, named Kesuma, should be thrown into the volcano as human sacrifice. Demand god 'implemented. The tradition of throwing sacrifices into the volcano to appease the gods of ancient continues today and called Yadnya Kasada ceremony. Though fraught with danger, some locals risk climbed down into the crater in an attempt to remember the sacrificed goods that believed could bring them good luck.

In the sand that sits Segara Wedi Hindu temple called Pura Luhur Poten. The temple holds significance for the Tengger people scattered mountain villages like Ngadisari, Wonokitri, Ngadas, Argosari, Ranu Prani, Ledok Ombo and Wonokerso. Temple held Yadnya Kasada annual ceremony for about a month. On day 14, the Tengger people will gather at the Divine Temple Poten to ask for blessings from Ida Sang Hyang Widi Wasa and God Mahameru (Mount Semeru). Then the mass will proceed along the edge of the crater of Mount Bromo where offerings will be thrown into the crater. The main difference between this temple with the Balinese people are the type of stone and building materials. Divine Temple Poten uses natural black stones from volcanoes nearby, while Balinese temples mostly made of red brick. In the temple, there are several buildings and enclosures aligned in Mandala zone composition.
